On days like this when we are waiting for the passage of the storm Chantal in
the Caribbean, there are many tourist activities that are affected. The hotels that
are located in the coastal beach are sometimes compelled to evacuate tourists,

Someone recently asked me if the travel insurance covers these situations where a tourist traveling to spend days of sun and sand and a climate is forcing him to lock himself in a room.

tormenta Chantal por el Caribe, son muchas las actividades turísticas que se

ocasiones se ven precisados a evacuar los turistas situación esta que causa
grandes trastornos en las operaciones normales del hotel.
Alguien me preguntaba recientemente si los seguros de viajes
cubren estas situaciones en las que un turista viaja para pasar días de sol y
playa y se encuentra con un clima que lo obliga a encerrarse en una habitación.
La verdad es que los tours normalmente están asegurados para caso de suspensión,
sin embargo el hecho de que las vacaciones se arruinen porque el clima no es
favorable no se contempla en las coberturas de seguros.
